It started with a breakdown. In 2024, our founder was stranded on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway -- no mechanic, no help, no safety net. Six hours under the sun, calling random numbers, hoping the stranger who showed up was honest, capable, and safe.
That experience exposed a massive gap: Nigeria has over 15 million registered vehicles and millions of skilled mechanics, but no reliable, safe, technology-driven way to connect them. The ride-hailing revolution transformed how we move. Why hasn't the same happened for how we fix our cars?
OGAH MECHANIC was born to answer that question. We are building the infrastructure layer for automotive services in Africa -- starting with Nigeria, the continent's largest auto market.
